Purpose
The Seventh Circuit Mailing List is intended to disseminate information about recent opinions of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. The mailing list is a spinoff of an internal current awareness project. There is no charge to subscribe to the mailing list.
What It Is
The opinions are obtained from the web server maintained by the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
The mailing list provides the first paragraph of each new opinion that is found on the Court's website at 3:00 p.m. Chicago time. (The first paragraph provides a surprisingly good summary of the opinion.)
No Warranty
No warranty is made for completeness or accuracy. Opinions may have been amended or withdrawn by the Court.
The mailing list is not a replacement for conventional research.
